July 16th Release

This update focuses on improving SEO functionality, user experience in project creation and management, and resolving several UI/UX inconsistencies reported by our users.

New Features & Enhancements

New "Create Project" Template Flow

Introduced a new "Templates" step in the project creation process for both API and non-API documentation projects.

Users can now choose between:

  • Continuous Scrolling Template
  • One Page Per Section Template

Each template now has a Preview option to explore the full design before selection.

Added a feature comparison modal to help users choose the best template for their needs.

Pagination for Projects Dashboard

  • Added front-end pagination to the Projects dashboard, limiting the view to 30 projects per page.
  • The UI now fetches only the current page's data, resulting in improved performance for workspaces with large numbers of projects.

SEO & Metadata Improvements

Fixed SEO Description Disappearance

Resolved an issue where SEO descriptions would disappear after saving due to a page reload on the Theneo dashboard.

Open Graph (OG) Image Issue

Fixed a problem where uploaded OG images from the SEO settings would not appear in link previews (e.g., social media or messaging apps).

  • Impact: Previously, the uploaded OG image was either not saved correctly or not rendered in the metadata, resulting in missing or blank images in link previews.
  • Expected Behavior: The uploaded OG image now reliably appears as the preview image when a project link is shared.

Bug Fixes

API Explorer Boolean Checkbox Misalignment

Corrected alignment of boolean parameter checkboxes, which previously appeared centered instead of left-aligned.

Remove Direct Section-Title Editing in Docs Editor

Users can now rename sections only through the "More options (⋯) → Rename" menu to avoid slug update inconsistencies.

This release delivers cleaner workflows, more predictable SEO behavior, and improved performance when managing large projects. Users will benefit from a more consistent editing experience, better link previews, and clearer template choices when setting up new documentation.
