MyPreferences serves as a centralized consent repository for managing consents associated with individuals or devices (IoT) across any data category.

The Consents API suite provides comprehensive control over the entire consent lifecycle, including creating, updating, and deactivating consent types. A Consent Type represents a specific category or classification of consent. The API supports creating new consent types, retrieving existing consent types, retrieving supported consent statuses, and updating individual consent types, enabling comprehensive management of consent-related information.

Using HTTP PATCH requests, the API supports partial updates to consent configurations, providing greater flexibility and control. These capabilities help ensure that consent preferences are accurately maintained and can be managed in accordance with applicable data privacy requirements.
